The 1 TB Drive Windows Could See but File Explorer Couldn't

A laptop SATA drive moved into a USB-C enclosure showed up in Device Manager and Disk Management but never in File Explorer. How I traced it to an unreadable Linux partition, verified the right disk, and rebuilt it as exFAT.
